June 2, 1964: Application for Certificate of Citizenship: Aunt Etta states that she arrived in Boston in 1914 as Etta Nelson, and ultimately was granted citizenship based on this claim


July 20, 1913: Este Schlager arrived in Boston. This was Aunt Etta! Birthplace: Lokacze. Nearest relative: father, Avrum Schlager. Destination: Portland, Maine. Friend's Name: [brother:] Jankel Robinsohn  [324 Fore, Portland, ME] (Jacob Robinson).


 

May 8, 1893: SS Berlin arrival in New York from Southampton of Carrie Oppenheim, age 50 [circa 1843], and her children Jennie, age 17 [circa 1876] and Louis, age 11 [circa 1882].

1925 Jennie Oppenheim Morris Passport app with birthplace change. She knew she was born in Germany and wrote that she was born in US. And still she got her passport!
